As a mortgage loan officer since 2002, I am passionate about creating successful lending transactions for both my refinance and purchase clients. A trusted advisor to both industry partners and clients, my team and I make the mortgage process easy to understand for the consumer. We provide an educational experience with a high level of service and a culture that is ‘client-centric,’ which puts all parties in a transaction at ease.
My work ethic and determination to match borrowers with the correct program has earned me the distinction of a “Five Star Professional” mortgage lender as featured in Portland Monthly Magazine for multiple consecutive years. I easily relate to each client and real estate broker as their lending partner by providing constant communication throughout the process.
A native Oregonian, I was born and raised in Salem. Attending the University of Oregon, I played football as an Offensive Lineman with the Ducks and graduated with a BS in Psychology. Married to my college sweetheart, Alice, we have three boys 2 attending College at the University of Oregon and one at the College of Idaho. I give back to the community through a number of initiatives. I previously coached youth football and have served as a board member for Tualatin High School Quarterback club.
When not helping clients with their mortgage financing, I enjoy boating, participating in my children’s activities, camping, and working out.

Rates are subject to change. This pricing engine reflects the most favorable results after comparing our network of wholesale lending partners. This pricing engine does not include any other applicable 3rd party title and escrow charges, appraisal, credit report, or prepaid tax and insurance reserves. The displayed annual percentage rates (APRs) include total points and additional prepaid finance charges but do not include other closing costs. Loan pricing may only be locked through a VMB home loan consultant to be effective after a formal loan application. Rates will depend in part on your unique credit history and transaction characteristics. Monthly payments include principal, interest, and PMI if applicable, but do not taxes and insurance. *The 10/6 ARM is tied to the SOFR index and fixed for the first initial 10 years. After the initial 10 year fixed period the rate will adjust (up or down) every 6 months on the SOFR 30-day average with a fixed margin of 3.0 and a lifetime cap of 5% above the initial note rate. This is not a formal Loan Estimate (LE). A Loan Estimate is provided and can be requested pursuant to Federal regulations and with a formal loan application. This information does not constitute a loan commitment or approval.
